DL380G9 Overview

Among HPE's best-selling servers, the HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 rack server is also referred to as the "datacenter standard" by HPE. This server is excellent at both mission-critical applications and conventional commercial solutions, and it supports the newest technologies. 25GbE and support for HPE's Persistent Memory are examples of new technology. The ProLiant series servers are geared for HPE's NVDIMMs, which provide improved performance for workloads including databases and analytics.

Achievement
The DL380 Gen9 supports up to two Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 or Intel E5-2600 v3 family processors. Performance is up 23% with Intel Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors compared to E5-2600 v3 processors.

You can use up to 24 HPE DDR4 SmartMemory modules with the ProLiant DL380 Gen9. equipped with DDR4 LRDIMM modules totaling 128GB
